I’d definitely recommend seeing both North and South Vietnam as there’s so much to see/do in both. The north had beautiful Sapa and Halong Bay (very cloudy when I went though) middle – Hoi An/Hue then the south HCMC then I travelled through the mekong delta and caught a ferry to finish my trip in Phu Quoc.
